Studio FAQ
The practical details about content, revisions, domains, integrations, project timing, launch, and what happens after your website goes live.
What to know before you start.
How long will my website take?
Project timing is confirmed after the scope, content readiness, required materials, and technical needs have been reviewed. Studio does not use a one-size-fits-all turnaround promise.
Do I need to have all of my content ready?
Launch and Standard projects work best when core copy, images, business information, links, and other required assets are ready before the primary build begins. If content development is needed, tell us during inquiry so it can be evaluated separately.
Do I need to know which package I need?
No. The website inquiry includes an “I'm not sure yet” option. Describe what you are trying to build and Dynamic Impact will determine the appropriate next step after reviewing the project.
Can Dynamic Impact help with branding or messaging too?
Yes, but brand strategy, messaging development, copywriting, and other consulting work are not automatically included in a website package. When needed, those services can be scoped separately through Dynamic Impact.
Scope, feedback, and functionality.
How do revision rounds work?
A revision round is one consolidated set of feedback submitted after reviewing the current version of the site. New pages, functionality, strategy, content development, or requirements outside the approved scope may require a separate quote.
What if I need payments, booking, registration, or another integration?
Those needs may fit an Extended project when the underlying process and requirements are already defined. Integrations vary in complexity, so Extended projects begin with a technical scope review before they are quoted.
What if I know I need technology, but I have not figured out the business process yet?
That may be a Solutions Development engagement rather than a website implementation project. Dynamic Impact can help analyze the problem, gather requirements, identify gaps, and define the solution before the technology is built or connected.
What happens if the project is delayed because materials or feedback are not ready?
Website projects depend on timely content, access, feedback, and approvals. If a project becomes inactive for an extended period, it may be paused and rescheduled based on availability. Any applicable restart terms are defined in the project agreement.
Ownership, launch, and ongoing support.
Who owns my domain?
You do. Clients should maintain ownership of their domain. Dynamic Impact can handle the technical connection required to launch the approved website.
When does the website go live?
Launch happens after final approval, required project obligations are complete, and the site has passed final production checks. Payment milestones and launch requirements are outlined in the project agreement.
What if something is not working after launch?
If qualifying functionality from the original build is not working as delivered, Dynamic Impact will address it according to the post-launch support terms in your agreement. New requests, preference changes, additional content, new functionality, and third-party changes are not build defects.
Can Dynamic Impact maintain the website after launch?
Website Care is available for eligible Studio websites and may include managed hosting, SSL and deployment management, technical monitoring, maintenance, and defined support. It does not include unlimited website changes.
